We deliver our services via a number of inter-related methods as follows:

One-on-one Counseling
We meet with our clients on a quarterly basis to facilitate decision-making and implementation.

Initial Data Exchange
We will help each client complete a confidential databook detailing his/her financial situation.
We will ask for copies of:

  • Wills, trusts, powers-of-attorney, medical directives
  • Tax returns for the previous two years
  • Insurance policies (life, auto, homeowners, umbrella)
  • Brokerage/mutual fund statements
  • Current Paystub
  • Other pertinent financial documentation

Personalized Financial Exhibits
We will then develop a series of personal financial exhibits.
These will include:

  • Net Worth Statement
  • State of Affairs & Estate Flow Chart
  • Life Insurance Summary
  • Property & Casualty Summary
  • Income-tax Projection
  • Asset Allocation
  • Stock Option Analysis.
  • Retirement Cash Flow Analysis

Personal Financial Counseling Sessions
Our approach is proactive in nature. We meet face-to-face with the our clients on a quarterly basis (at minimum) to discuss objectives, review the financial analysis, address issues, set a priority plan, and most importantly implement the decisions made.

Summary Letter Provided After Each Meeting
At the conclusion of each meeting, we send our clients a detailed letter that summarizes the meeting discussions and decisions made. The letter also serves as a working agenda to detail what we plan to accomplish by our next meeting.

Telephone/Email Access
Our clients have unlimited telephone and Email access to Black Coral.

Income Tax Preparation
Black Coral is available to prepare joint federal and state income tax returns for the client.
We currently provide this service for 50% of our clients. At our client's request, returns for other family members, trusts, etc. will be prepared for an additional fee.
